A next.js web application that integrates AI capabilities with draw.io diagrams. This app allows you to create, modify, and enhance diagrams through natural language commands and AI-assisted visualization.
A Next.js app that lets you generate and edit draw.io diagrams by chatting with an LLM, plus an MCP server so agents like Claude Code or Cursor can drive the same diagram canvas directly. Aimed at developers who want architecture/flowchart diagrams without hand-placing boxes, and are fine bringing their own model API key.
Diagrams are represented as real draw.io XML rather than some intermediate format, so anything the AI produces stays fully editable in the actual draw.io app afterward. The MCP server packaging is a genuinely useful integration point - you can point Claude Code or VS Code at it and get diagrams rendered live in a browser tab instead of just text. Version history with restore means a bad AI edit doesn't nuke your diagram, which matters a lot given how error-prone LLM-generated XML can be. Provider support is unusually broad (Bedrock, OpenAI, Anthropic, Vertex, Azure, Ollama, OpenRouter, DeepSeek, etc.) with custom endpoints for most of them.
The core mechanism depends on the model emitting syntactically strict, well-formed draw.io XML from a prompt - the README itself admits weaker models will fail at this, so diagram quality is really a proxy for whichever model you picked. Admin panel security is a single ADMIN_PASSWORD env var protecting something that can hold multiple providers' API keys - fine for personal use, not something you'd want exposed on a shared deployment without more thought. The project's scope has sprawled a lot for what started as a diagramming tool - Electron desktop app, Cloudflare Worker deploy target, EdgeOne integration, admin panel - which is a lot of surface for one maintainer to keep consistently working across releases. README is heavily larded with sponsor logos and badges, which makes it slower to find the actual setup instructions.
