Elfocrash/aws-videos
A grab-bag of standalone .NET/AWS sample solutions from Nick Chapsas's YouTube videos — SNS/SQS pub-sub, DynamoDB CRUD and streams, Lambda with and without Native AOT, Parameter Store, Secrets Manager. It's for C# developers who want a working reference project to pair with a specific video topic, not a library to install.
Each folder is a complete, runnable solution rather than a snippet, so you can clone one subfolder and actually run it against real AWS services. The DynamoDbStreams and NativeAot examples are genuinely useful side-by-sides — one showing a Lambda reacting to a stream to sync a cache, the other comparing a Native AOT Lambda against a normal runtime Lambda for cold start. Code follows a consistent layered style (domain/contracts/mapping/repositories) across projects, so once you understand one you can navigate the rest quickly.
The README is a single video link with no index of what's in each folder — you have to open each directory and guess, or go hunt down the matching YouTube video to get the explanation. Last commit is from November 2023, so the AWS SDK and Lambda tooling versions are a couple years behind and may not reflect current best practice. There's no test project anywhere in the tree despite the layered architecture clearly being built to support one. It's a loose collection of unrelated demos, not a cohesive codebase, so there's nothing to actually adopt — only patterns to copy.
