MewPurPur/GodSVG
A vector graphics application for structured SVG editing, available on all major desktop platforms and on web. Currently in late alpha.
GodSVG is a desktop/web vector editor built in Godot that treats SVG markup as the source of truth instead of hiding it behind a proprietary format. It's for developers and designers who want to hand-tune SVG output — icon sets, small illustrations — without an editor bolting on inkscape:-style metadata cruft.
The core idea is legitimately different from Inkscape/Illustrator/Figma: UI edits and code edits are two views of the same tree, so what you export is what you drew, with no hidden namespaced attributes to strip afterward. Path-command-level editing (select individual M/L/C/A commands, insert-after with keyboard shortcuts, subpath selection via double-click) goes deeper than most 'simple' SVG tools bother with. Shipping identically on desktop and web from one Godot codebase is a genuine advantage for a project this size — no separate Electron+wasm builds to maintain.
It says late alpha and means it — there's no 1.0, and the README points you at dev builds and CI artifacts rather than a stable release channel. Built on GDScript/Godot means the contributor pool is small and tooling (linters, IDE support, package ecosystem) is thinner than what you'd get from a TS or Rust equivalent. macOS installs require manually stripping the quarantine flag because there's no notarization, which is real friction for anyone outside the Godot crowd. Documentation is explicitly 'not written yet' — the README's usage section is the only reference, so anything not covered there means reading GDScript source.
