its so over
A language server for HTMX attributes, written in Rust and built on tree-sitter, that gives you autocomplete for hx-* attributes and their values in Neovim (and an unpublished VSCode extension). It's for developers who use HTMX heavily and want editor support instead of memorizing attribute names.
Attribute value completions are backed by per-value markdown docs (e.g. separate files for hx-swap's innerHTML/outerHTML/beforeend/etc.), so the LSP can surface real documentation inline instead of just a list of strings. Uses tree-sitter for parsing rather than regex, which is the right call for anything embedded in HTML attribute values. Ships CI (ci.yml, release.yml) and is published on crates.io with Mason/lspconfig integration already wired up, so Neovim install is a one-liner.
By the README's own admission, completion currently triggers on any `-` character 'without even looking at the context' — there's no real attribute-context awareness yet, which means noisy or wrong suggestions outside htmx attributes. No diagnostics, hover, or code actions — it's autocomplete only, and the roadmap for anything beyond that is aspirational. VSCode support is an unpublished dev-only extension in `client/vscode`, not something you can actually install. No test directory in the tree, so parser/completion correctness relies on manual checking rather than a suite.
