Qbot is a Chinese open-source quant trading platform that bundles data ingestion, backtesting (built on backtrader/vnpy/qlib), a large pile of classic and ML-based strategies, and live-trading adapters for Chinese brokers, futures counters, and crypto exchanges. It's aimed at Python developers with some trading background who want an end-to-end research-to-execution pipeline rather than a single-purpose library.

The strategy library is actually implemented, not just described — MACD/KDJ/RSI variants alongside LSTM, RL, and transformer-based models each have runnable backtest scripts and sample output, so you can verify behavior instead of taking the README's word for it. Live execution support is unusually broad for an open-source quant repo, covering CTP futures, several Chinese stock broker APIs, and three crypto exchanges — most backtesting frameworks stop at paper trading. The data/strategy/execution layering mirrors the vnpy/qlib model, so swapping a data source or broker adapter doesn't require rewriting strategy code.

Only tested on Python 3.8/3.9 with prebuilt TA-Lib and wxPython wheels committed directly into dev/ instead of pulled from PyPI — that's a maintenance and supply-chain smell, and those wheels will rot as Python versions move on. The README and most strategy docs are Chinese-only; non-Chinese speakers get a translated headline but none of the actual strategy explanations. Several indicators and strategies in the feature table are explicitly marked 收费 (paid) — the 'open source' repo gates a chunk of its own advertised functionality behind a commercial tier, and the README spends more space on WeChat groups, referral codes, and paid VIP/pro upsells than on install troubleshooting. The license is CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 (non-commercial), which rules out using this as a base for anything you'd actually sell or run a business on.
