Unity3D Syntax Highlighting (C# & JavaScript)

// the take

A Sublime Text 2/3 package that adds .tmLanguage grammar files for Unity's C# and UnityScript (JavaScript) dialects, giving proper syntax highlighting instead of falling back to generic C#/JS rules. Useful only for Unity developers who still use Sublime Text as their script editor rather than Rider or VS.

Does one narrow thing and does it via the standard TextMate grammar format, so it's trivial to understand or fork. Installs cleanly through Package Control with no dependencies or build step.

Dead since 2019 and UnityScript was removed from Unity entirely in 2017, so half the package highlights a language that no longer exists in any supported Unity version. No tests or CI, just two static grammar files, so any Unity API or syntax drift since 5.x is permanently unaddressed. Sublime Text's own market share among Unity devs has shrunk hard in favor of Rider and VS Code, which narrows this to a shrinking niche with no real alternative if it breaks.
