Obsidian + Claude Code: Rebuild Your Second Brain with AI · 橙皮书系列 · 用AI重建你的第二大脑
A Chinese-language book, distributed as PDFs with a README outline, on running an Obsidian vault that Claude Code reads and maintains. It is aimed at people who already keep notes in Markdown and want an AI layer on top without a vector database, and at Chinese readers first, with an English PDF as a secondary edition.
The CLAUDE.md plus one index.md per folder pattern is small and concrete enough to try in an afternoon, and it avoids MCP servers and embeddings entirely. The argument that the LLM should maintain the wiki rather than sit behind retrieval comes with one checkable number, roughly 400k characters of material. The seven workflows are written as step-by-step prompts instead of general advice, and an English PDF ships alongside the Chinese one, which widens the readership considerably.
The substance lives in PDFs, not in markdown chapters, so diffs, issues and search against specific passages are awkward, and the README itself warns that the GitHub preview may not render. Several framing claims are asserted without sources, including the Manus acquisition figure, the OpenClaw star count and the 40-minute setup time, so treat them as the author's view. The repo contains no template vault or CLAUDE.md to copy, so readers have to extract the structure from the book themselves. Both PDFs are pinned to v1.0.0 and the repo does not say how the English edition is kept in step with the Chinese text.
