[ARCHIVED] A polished, production-ready backend framework in Dart for the VM, AOT, and Flutter.

Angel was a full-stack, DI-driven backend framework for Dart, covering routing, a service-based ORM (Postgres, Mongo, etc.), auth, GraphQL, and hot reload. It's for Dart developers who want a Rails/Laravel-style all-in-one server framework, but as of April 2021 it is archived and no longer maintained by its author.

Genuinely batteries-included: DI container, pluggable ORM services, multiple auth strategies (local, OAuth2, Twitter), GraphQL, CORS, caching, and an angel_cli scaffolder for controllers/services/models. Modular monorepo — each concern is its own pub package, so you can take the router and DI without pulling in auth or GraphQL. Mature API surface backed by real production usage, not a toy demo project.

Archived with no null-safety support in this repo — it won't run on a current Dart SDK without switching to the community fork (dukefirehawk/angel), whose own maintenance activity isn't established here. The container package leans on dart:mirrors for reflection, which breaks under AOT/Flutter builds and needs a separate codegen (reflectable) path to work around it — an architectural wart baked in from the start. CI badges point at Travis, dead since the project's active years, so there's no working build signal on the current state of the code.
