My Portfolio Site | Made With @Gatsbyjs
A personal portfolio and blog site built with Gatsby, belonging to the author of github-readme-stats. It's for developers who want a reference for a fairly complete personal site setup — projects, blog, case studies, dark mode — rather than a reusable tool or library.
Actually has E2E tests (Cypress) and unit tests (Jest) for a personal site, which most portfolio repos skip entirely. Content (blog posts, case studies) is separated from components as markdown/JSON, so the structure doubles as a decent example of a content-driven Gatsby site. Includes a custom Gatsby plugin (gatsby-plugin-social-banners) for generating social share images, which is a nontrivial, reusable piece of build tooling.
Built on Gatsby, which is effectively dead post-Netlify-acquisition wind-down — anyone forking this in 2026 inherits an unmaintained framework and its plugin ecosystem. CI is wired to Travis CI, which stopped being a viable free option years ago, so the badge and workflow are stale. No commits or meaningful activity since mid-2024, and as a personal site its 'evaluation' as a template is really just 'does this person's taste match yours' — there's no abstraction or config layer for reuse, you're forking someone's entire identity and stripping it out by hand.
