Multi-protocol proxy management panel built with Python & FastAPI, deployable on Railway.

RVG is a self-hosted FastAPI panel that runs and manages VLESS, Trojan, Shadowsocks, and MTProto proxy relays out of one process, with a dashboard, per-link quotas, QR export, and a Telegram bot for automation. It's built for people standing up personal proxy/VPN infrastructure to get around network restrictions, not for general app developers.

It implements the relay protocols itself (protocol/vless, protocol/trojan, protocol/shadowsocks, protocol/mtproto) with multiple transports each (WebSocket, xHTTP, gRPC) rather than just shelling out to xray-core, which is a decent chunk of real protocol work. FastAPI + async keeps it a single lightweight process, and the one-click Railway deploy plus per-link traffic quotas and QR export are genuinely useful ops features for someone juggling several proxy links.

Everything — links, quotas, connection state — lives in memory; the README's own roadmap admits persistent storage isn't built yet, so a crash or redeploy wipes all of it. Forks (12,628) outnumber stars (4,069) by 3x, which isn't an organic ratio and should make you discount the popularity numbers rather than read them as real adoption. There's no test directory or CI anywhere in the repo despite shipping its own crypto/relay and TLS-fingerprint-spoofing code, so regressions there would be silent. The license lets you deploy and fork but explicitly bans modifying and redistributing changes, and there's a self-update script (updater.py) that can pull and apply its own updates with no description of how that's verified — worth checking closely before running this as anything more than a personal box.
