Neat Livewire Charts for your Laravel projects

A Livewire wrapper around ApexCharts that gives you PHP-side chart-building components (line, column, pie, area, radar, treemap, radial) instead of writing JS chart config directly. It's for Laravel/Livewire shops who want dashboard charts without touching a JS charting library themselves.

The fluent, chainable model API (ColumnChartModel, PieChartModel, etc.) maps cleanly onto ApexCharts concepts and stays readable even with several chained calls. Click events are wired back into Livewire's server-side listeners via #[On(...)], so you can react to a bar/slice click without hand-rolling any JS. The setJsonConfig() escape hatch, including passing raw JS closures as strings for things like tooltip formatters, means you're not boxed in when the fluent API doesn't cover an ApexCharts option.

It's a hard dependency on ApexCharts specifically — there's no abstraction if you ever want a different rendering backend. Livewire doesn't auto-diff these components, so 'reactivity' is done via a reactiveKey() hash that forces a full component teardown/rebuild on any data change; that's fine for occasional updates but will be visibly janky for anything updating frequently. The install step (php artisan livewire-charts:install) publishes JS assets into public/vendor, which is an extra manual step to keep in sync if you ever update the package, and there's no story for pulling the JS into a bundler-managed build without manually removing the @livewireChartsScripts directive. Last push was about nine months ago on a package with a fairly broad surface area (seven chart types), so bug fixes and ApexCharts version compatibility may lag.
