A comprehensive journey through C programming: from memory management and pointers to data structures and low-level system optimization. Includes documented examples and exercises
A personal collection of C exercises written while the author learned the language, organized into numbered folders by topic (operators, loops, arrays, pointers, malloc). It's useful as a beginner's roadmap of what to practice next, not as a reference implementation.
The folder progression actually mirrors a sane C curriculum — operators and control flow first, then functions, then arrays/strings, then malloc/pointers last, which is the order that avoids confusing beginners with undefined behavior too early. It includes a dedicated segfault.c and free_mem.c, meaning the author deliberately practiced memory bugs instead of avoiding them. Each concept lives in its own small file, so you can grab one example without reading a monolith.
No Makefile or build instructions anywhere — every file has to be compiled by hand with no indication of which compiler flags were used or tested against. Folder names contain spaces ("03_switch statement", "programs examples"), which breaks shell globbing and makes scripting against the repo annoying. There's no license file despite the README claiming unrestricted use, so that claim isn't actually enforceable. The author states outright the code is inefficient and not meant for practical use, and there's no test harness or CI to catch regressions as files get added.
