A list of scrapers from around the web.

A markdown list of web scraping tools, libraries, and services — maintained by Cassidy Williams. It covers the spectrum from open-source Python/JS libraries (Beautiful Soup, lxml, Cheerio) to commercial SaaS platforms to browser extensions. Useful as a quick orientation when you're picking a scraping tool and don't know the landscape.

Covers a genuinely broad range of categories: headless-browser services, local desktop tools, cloud platforms, and code libraries all in one place. Alphabetical ordering with a ToC makes it easy to scan. Includes language tags so you can filter by your stack quickly. A handful of entries have actual pros/cons rather than just a description, which is more useful than most link lists.

Maintenance is spotty — several entries are dead products (Kimonolabs was shut down in 2016, Grabby and eLink look abandoned, ScraperWiki pivoted away from its original offering years ago). No indication of which tools are still actively developed versus zombie links. The pros/cons coverage is wildly uneven: most entries are just a one-line description with no evaluation, which removes most of the value you'd expect from a comparison list. No last-updated timestamps per entry, so you have no way to know how stale a given item is.
