// the take

An admin dashboard template/starter built on React 19, Vite, TypeScript, and shadcn/ui, with built-in RBAC (users/roles/permissions), i18n, and a full set of common back-office pages (kanban, calendar, charts, multi-tab layout). It's aimed at teams who want a modern, type-safe admin panel scaffold rather than wiring one up from scratch.

Ships with a genuinely complete admin feature set out of the box — auth guards, role/permission management, multi-tab dashboard layout with sortable tabs, kanban, calendar, and charting all already wired up and styled, not just stubbed pages. Uses MSW + Faker.js for mocking, so the whole thing runs and demos realistically with zero backend. Clean separation of concerns in the nav system (horizontal/vertical/mini variants each with their own group/item/list components) and state is split sensibly between Zustand (client state) and React Query (server state) instead of dumping everything into one store.

The topics list still carries ant-design/antd tags even though the README says it's shadcn/ui now, which suggests a mid-migration codebase — worth checking whether any screens still carry antd styling assumptions or dependencies before committing. There's no test suite visible anywhere in the tree (lefthook/biome handle formatting and commit hooks, not test coverage), so correctness relies entirely on manual QA. Everything is built against the mock layer first; swapping in a real backend means reworking src/api/services and the auth flow, and it's not obvious from the structure how much of the permission/role logic is enforced server-side versus just hidden client-side nav items. Support is Discord + a separate docs site rather than inline documentation, so troubleshooting integration issues means leaving the repo.

We read the README, the directory tree and a key source file in October 2026. Nobody pays to be listed. How we judge →
