It covers Eureka, Ribbon, Feign, Hystrix, Zuul, Spring Cloud Stream, Zipkin, Consul, and the Spring Cloud Alibaba pieces on Nacos and Sentinel. It suits Java developers who read Chinese and want to see each component wired up in isolation. The last push was February 2023.
Each chapter is a self-contained project that matches one post, so you can open the exact code a tutorial describes instead of rebuilding it from snippets. The Stream chapters are concrete about failure handling, covering automatic retry, a custom error handler, a RabbitMQ dead-letter queue, and requeueing, and they show the trade-offs of each. The Alibaba section is the most useful part today, since it covers persisting Sentinel rules to Nacos and Apollo and syncing dashboard edits back to the store.
The examples target Spring Boot 1.x-era releases (Brixton, Dalston) and early 2.x (Finchley), so a pom copied into a current project will likely fail on dependency resolution and API changes. Hystrix, Ribbon and Zuul are presented as default choices, but Hystrix has been in maintenance mode upstream since 2018, Spring replaced Zuul with Spring Cloud Gateway and Ribbon with Spring Cloud LoadBalancer, and the README mentions neither replacement. The repo has not been touched since February 2023, the source-analysis list has a duplicated Ribbon link, and one section ends in an unfinished 'to be continued' entry, so treat it as a historical reference rather than a starting template.
