PrometheusAlert is a Chinese ops-focused alert forwarding hub: it accepts webhooks from Prometheus, Zabbix, Graylog, Grafana, SonarQube, Jenkins, Gitlab and Aliyun Cloud Monitor, then fans them out to DingTalk, WeChat, Feishu, email, Telegram, Kafka, Elasticsearch, and a pile of Chinese SMS/phone-call providers (Aliyun, Tencent, Huawei, Baidu, 7moor). It's aimed at ops teams already living in the Chinese cloud/IM ecosystem who need one box that turns any webhook into a phone call or DingTalk ping.
The source and destination matrix is genuinely broad for a single Go binary — you get Prometheus/Zabbix/Graylog/Grafana/SonarQube ingestion and IM/SMS/phone/Kafka/ES output without stitching together five different tools. Alert formatting goes through Go templates with a template test UI in the dashboard, so you're not locked into a hardcoded message shape. It has real on-call ergonomics baked in: phone-number round robin, random selection among multiple robot URLs to dodge anti-spam rate limits, alert grouping/routing, and a hot-reload config endpoint so you don't restart the process to change routing. Deployment options cover binary release, Docker with PA_-prefixed env var config, a Helm chart, and raw k8s manifests.
There is no English documentation anywhere — every config guide and the dashboard UI itself is Chinese-only, which is a real wall for anyone outside that ecosystem trying to adopt or debug it. A compiled Windows executable (PrometheusAlertVoicePlugin/PrometheusAlertVoice.exe) is committed straight into the repo, and there's no visible test directory anywhere in the tree, so you're trusting an untested alerting path plus a binary blob you can't diff. It ships with a bundled sqlite file as the default store, meaning the mysql/postgres 'cluster' story is an add-on rather than how the project is actually built and tested day to day. The static assets are fully vendored — complete copies of AdminLTE, Bootstrap, Chart.js and CodeMirror live directly under static/, so frontend dependency updates are manual file surgery instead of a package bump.
