code for the rgbd-slam tutorial written in cnblogs

A step-by-step companion codebase for a Chinese-language (cnblogs) tutorial series on building an RGB-D SLAM pipeline from scratch, split into seven progressive stages (point cloud generation, feature matching, pose graph optimization with g2o, visualization with QGLViewer). It's for someone learning the fundamentals of visual odometry and graph-based SLAM in C++, not for production use.

The part-by-part structure is genuinely useful pedagogically — each folder adds one concept (depth-to-pointcloud, ORB feature matching, RANSAC pose estimation, g2o graph optimization) so you can diff two stages to see exactly what changed. It uses a realistic, standard SLAM stack (PCL, OpenCV, g2o, Eigen, QGLViewer) rather than reinventing math from scratch, which is a reasonable intro to those libraries' APIs. Sample RGB/depth image pairs are included per stage so you can run the code without sourcing your own dataset.

Compiled binaries (bin/main, bin/detectFeatures, etc.) and vendor archives (g2o.zip, a libqglviewer tarball for Ubuntu 14.04) are committed straight into the repo instead of being built or fetched as dependencies — this is a packaging anti-pattern and ties the project to ancient, likely unbuildable library versions on any modern toolchain. The repo is effectively dead: no commits since 2015 content-wise, last push 2019, and the README just points you to an external blog for all the actual explanation, so the code alone is close to unreadable without that external context (which may itself be unavailable or untranslated). There's no CMake superbuild or dependency pinning beyond the bundled FindXXX.cmake modules, no license file, and stray artifacts like .DS_Store and slamBase.h~ backup files show the repo was never cleaned up before being made public.
