A Flutter client that imitates the current Weibo app, split into five tabs (home, video, discover, messages, profile) with a few dozen screens. It is most useful as a reference for how a large Flutter app with many screens and third-party packages gets organised, not as something to ship.
- Feature folders map directly onto the tabs (lib/pages/home, vedio, message, mine, find), so it is easy to find where a given screen lives.
- The like button is a self-contained animation with its own painters (lib/widget/likebutton/painter), so it can be lifted out without the rest of the app.
- The @ and # handling in the compose box is built on extended_text_field with separate at_text and topic_text span builders, which is the part most Flutter clones get messy.
- Last pushed May 2024 and pinned to Flutter 3.0.5. The README already tells you to delete the android and ios folders and run flutter create to build locally, so expect dependency and platform-template breakage on current SDKs.
- The backend is not in the repo. Login uses shared test accounts (test1 to test5, password 123) against a server the client depends on but which is not included, so most screens cannot be exercised from a clone alone.
- The repo carries its own copy of the recorder's Android code under android/app/src/main/java/record on top of the audio_recorder dependency, which will drift from any upstream fix.
- A release signing keystore (android/app/hrlweibo.jks) is committed. Signing keys belong outside the repo, and this is a pattern not to copy.
