Attempt to re-create oni at Unity3D engine using original game content only.
A 2014 hobby project attempting to reload Bungie's 1999 game Oni (its proprietary binary assets, not just the engine) into Unity3D. It's for someone specifically nostalgic for Oni or curious about reverse-engineering old binary game formats, not for general Unity development.
The Deserializable/ folder shows real reverse-engineering work — dozens of hand-written parsers for Oni's internal binary chunk types (AGQG, AISA, M3GA, TRIA, OBOA, etc.), which means someone actually mapped out Oni's file format rather than just wrapping an existing tool. It also bundles OniSplit.dll, the community-made Oni asset extractor, so the pipeline from original game files to parsed data is at least partially wired up.
Dead since 2014 with 2 stars and no README visible in the tree, so there's no explanation of what's implemented, how to run it, or what Oni assets you need to supply yourself (the repo can't legally include them). It's built on an ancient Unity version — the project still ships Unity 3.x/4-era Standard Assets Image Effects (Pro Only) wholesale rather than referencing them, which bloats the repo and will not import cleanly into any current Unity. File names like NewBehaviourScript.cs and NewBehaviourScript1.cs suggest leftover scaffolding that was never cleaned up, a sign this never got past an early prototype stage.
