A cross-platform manga app made for e-hentai & exhentai by Flutter
A Flutter client for E-Hentai and ExHentai that builds for Android, iOS, Windows, macOS and Linux from one Dart codebase. It is aimed at people who already use those sites and want a native reader with offline downloads, tag translation and archive handling in place of the web UI.
The download and offline state sits in drift, with separate DAOs for galleries, downloads, archives, history, block rules and a dio cache table, which is a sound structure for this kind of app. Tag translation uses the EhTagTranslation database and tag ordering draws on community datasets, so the browsing experience matches what E-Hentai users already expect. The reader supports vertical, horizontal and double-column layouts, and downloads have manual priority and group assignment, which covers what heavy users actually need. Distribution through GitHub releases, Obtainium and AltStore or SideLoadly sources gives iOS users updates without the App Store.
The README labels macOS and Linux as no maintenance, so those builds are the most likely to lag behind mobile. Every feature depends on scraping E-Hentai and ExHentai HTML and their login flows, so any site change breaks things until the maintainer ships a fix, and the project reads as a single-maintainer effort.
