// the take

A set of Jupyter notebooks from the Udemy 'Complete Python Bootcamp' course, covering Python basics through intermediate topics like OOP, decorators, generators, and GUI widgets with ipywidgets. It's for someone working through the paid video course who wants the accompanying code and exercises in a runnable notebook form, not a standalone tutorial.

Covers a wide range of topics in one place, from basic syntax through decorators, iterators/generators, multiprocessing, and regex, with milestone and capstone projects for practice beyond toy examples. Homework notebooks ship with separate solution notebooks, so you can attempt exercises and self-check without spoilers. The GUI section on ipywidgets is a useful addition most intro Python courses skip.

This is static teaching material, not a library or tool: there's nothing to install, import, or depend on, and no tests to verify any of it still runs on a current Python/Jupyter stack. No commits since mid-2023, so it predates several Python language and tooling changes and won't reflect current best practice. The notebooks are built to accompany paid video lectures; without that narration, some of the terser ones (especially the 'Test' and project notebooks) assume context the repo itself doesn't provide.
