A no-code or framework to build blazing fast EVM indexers - built in rust.
rindexer is a Rust toolkit for indexing EVM chain events off a YAML config — no code needed for the common case of watching contracts and dumping events into Postgres/ClickHouse with an auto-generated GraphQL API, with an escape hatch into a full Rust project when you need custom logic. Aimed at dapp/protocol teams who want an indexer running today without hand-rolling one or standing up a subgraph.
The no-code YAML path isn't just a marketing claim — there are working examples for every storage backend (Postgres, ClickHouse, CSV) and it covers real cases like factory pattern indexing (dynamically discovering contracts created by e.g. a Uniswap V3 factory), which most quick-and-dirty indexers get wrong. Reorg handling has dedicated code with its own persistence and window logic plus e2e tests for it, which a lot of 'blazing fast' indexing tools skip entirely. It also ships stream sinks beyond just a database — Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, webhooks — so it's not locked into one output shape.
Windows support is second-class: install requires Git Bash/WSL since PowerShell/Cmd aren't supported, and native Windows binaries drop Reth/ExEx support, so Reth mode means Linux/macOS/Docker/WSL regardless. The GraphQL layer is a separate Node/Express project (postgraphile) compiled into a binary and embedded at build time — an extra Node + npm dependency for a Rust tool, and one more thing to debug when the GraphQL side breaks. 'No-code' really only covers the simple watch-and-store case; Rust-mode projects with actual business logic still mean writing your own event handlers, so the no-code pitch doesn't extend far. It's also fully self-hosted with no managed option, so you own uptime, historical backfill-to-live transitions, and monitoring yourself.
