Python API for interacting with the pipedrive.com API
A thin Python wrapper around Pipedrive's v1 REST API, written by its author for his own CRM work. Each resource is a method on a Pipedrive object, and the HTTP verb goes in as a keyword argument. It suits developers who already know the Pipedrive API and want a small client rather than a full SDK.
- The surface maps one-to-one onto the REST paths, so the Pipedrive docs remain the reference and the wrapper stays out of the way. pipedrive.deals(payload, method='POST') reads like the request it sends.
- It accepts either an API token or a username and password, so it can drop into scripts that were already set up with one or the other.
- The README is candid about scope and tells you to look at raw API responses before writing code. That is better advice than most wrappers give.
- The last push was September 2019. Pipedrive has added and changed endpoints since, and nothing in the repo suggests anyone is tracking that, so anything newer will need a patch on your side.
- Every call takes an untyped dict and the verb as a string. Wrong field names or verbs surface as runtime API errors, and the truncated tree shows a single pipedrive/__init__.py with no test directory visible to catch regressions.
- The README says coverage is not guaranteed, so anything beyond the core resources is a fork-and-add job. It also does not say whether the username and password path still works against the current API.
