Industrial plant emulated in LabView with virtual SCADA and HMI, plus Modbus communication with STM32 and ESP32 in AP mode for SCADA visualization.
A student-style industrial automation demo: a LabView virtual plant/HMI talks Modbus to an STM32 (RS485 and SPI variants) and an ESP32 running in AP mode with a small MicroPython web server. Useful as a reference if you're learning how SCADA, Modbus, and cheap microcontrollers fit together, not as production code.
Covers a realistic spread of real-world industrial wiring: Modbus RTU over RS485, a separate Modbus-over-SPI STM32 variant, and an ESP32 acting as its own access point serving an HMI page over MicroPython - three different transport/arch combos in one project. The STM32 side is a normal STM32CubeIDE HAL project rather than some ad-hoc bare-metal hack, so the register/peripheral setup is at least conventional.
The repo ships compiled build output (.o, .elf, .map, .cyclo, .su files under STM32_Firmware/.../Debug) and IDE project junk (.idea for the ESP32 MicroPython project) committed straight into git - there's no .gitignore discipline here despite one existing in the root. Documentation is a single-paragraph README with no wiring diagram, no Modbus register map, and no instructions for reproducing the LabView side, which also means a chunk of the project is unusable without owning a LabView license. Zero stars/forks and no commit history signal beyond the last push - this reads as a personal coursework project, not something built for other people to pick up.
