🚢 800+ 1-click Portainer app templates

A nightly-rebuilt aggregator that merges ~800 Portainer app templates from dozens of community template repos into one templates.json you point Portainer at. It's for self-hosters who don't want to juggle multiple template source URLs in Portainer's settings.

The source model is genuinely well thought out: 'collection' sources (someone's maintained list) vs 'app' sources (one author, one template, one row in sources.csv), with a clear dedup precedence (local > app > collection) so an app author only ever needs one PR here and then owns updates from their own repo. Nightly GitHub Actions rebuild means changes propagate within a day with no further maintainer involvement. Self-hosting is a single `docker run` with nginx, and there's an actual JSON schema plus a validator (`make validate`, `validate_sources.py`) for anyone adding or hosting templates.

There's barely any software here — the real logic is a handful of Python scripts in lib/, and the repo is otherwise a 500+ line generated JSON blob with no visible tests for the build pipeline itself (validate.py checks templates, not the scripts that produce them). The build has a fragile single point of failure by its own admission: one bad 'collection' source takes the whole nightly build down, unlike 'app' sources which just drop out silently. And there's zero vetting of the ~800 templates themselves — you're trusting dozens of unrelated authors' Docker images and compose files with no security review, which is a real supply-chain risk for anyone deploying these blind via Portainer's UI.
