This is the companion code repo for loveBabbar's MERN stack YouTube course — a flat list of per-lecture folders covering vanilla HTML/CSS/JS fundamentals (closures, promises, async, DOM) through a single intro React project. It's for absolute beginners following the video series, not for anyone looking for a reference implementation or reusable code.
The lecture folders map 1:1 to video numbers, so it's easy to follow along without hunting for the right commit. Early JS concepts (closures, promises, async) get their own isolated, runnable examples rather than being buried in one monolith file. No build step needed for most of the HTML/CSS/JS lectures — just open index.html.
The README is a single link to the playlist — zero context on what's actually in each lecture folder, so the repo is unusable without the videos. Despite the MERN description, there's no Express, Node backend, or MongoDB code visible in the tree — just one Vite-scaffolded React project and a pile of static HTML/CSS/JS exercises. Media assets (jpg, mp4, mp3) are committed straight into lecture folders, which is unnecessary repo bloat for what's meant to be teaching code. Dead since September 2024 with no structure cleanup — naming is just sequential lecture numbers with no topic index.
