🎉 A set of celebration animations powered by @shopify/react-native-skia. Engage more with your users by celebrating in your React Native application.

A React Native library of celebration effects (confetti, balloons, fireworks, hearts, stars, and emoji poppers) drawn with @shopify/react-native-skia. It is aimed at app developers who want a reward moment after a purchase, a completed task, or a milestone, not at anyone building a general animation system.

Drawing on a Skia canvas means each effect renders as one surface instead of hundreds of Animated.View nodes, which is the usual reason particle effects stutter in React Native. Effects are split into one component file per type under src/components, with a FiestaContext provider for mounting and triggering, so you can adopt one effect without taking the whole set. The docs site has a page per component, and the repo includes a PR build workflow and an Expo example app.

The last push was 6 November 2024, so the project has had no commits for nearly two years as of today. Skia and reanimated both move quickly, so expect version pinning and peer-dependency friction with current React Native and Expo releases. The example directory commits a 'canvaskit.wasm' binary, which is a build artifact that should not live in git. The visible part of the tree shows a single test file, and the README does not say what it covers, so verify the effects on a real device before shipping them.
