Arquivos do curso de PHP do Hora de Codar.
A Portuguese-language PHP course repo (from the Hora de Codar channel) with numbered exercise folders covering strings, arrays, OOP, dates, forms, MySQLi/PDO, and a handful of small capstone projects (a blog, a scheduling app, a Letterboxd-style movie review app). It's for beginners learning PHP from scratch, not for anyone looking for a library or reusable code.
The progression is genuinely well-ordered — it goes from string/array basics through OOP fundamentals (visibility, interfaces, traits, abstract classes) before touching a database, which is the right order for beginners. The MySQL section explicitly contrasts raw mysqli against prepared statements and then again against PDO, so learners see the injection-prone version next to the safe one instead of only ever seeing the 'right' answer. The capstone apps (agenda, moviestar) apply DAO/model patterns on top of the earlier lessons, giving a bridge from isolated snippets to something resembling a real app structure.
Everything is in Portuguese, which cuts the addressable audience to Portuguese speakers only — no English README or comments visible in the tree. It's several hundred one-off index.php files per exercise, not a codebase; there's no single entry point, no composer.json, no autoloading, so anyone browsing it has to know which of ~200 folders they want. No tests anywhere, which is fine for a course but means the 'reference' (_ref) folders are the only check that the exercises still work. Last pushed May 2024 with no ongoing maintenance — it's a frozen teaching artifact, not something you'd file issues against or expect fixes on.
