// the take
Full Stack Python is the full Pelican/Markdown source for fullstackpython.com, a long-running reference site that walks through the Python web ecosystem topic by topic: environments, data stores, web frameworks, deployment, devops. It's aimed at developers who want a map of the ecosystem plus links out to real docs and examples, not a library or tool you integrate into anything.
The topic coverage is genuinely broad and sensibly organized — each markdown page is a short, honest explainer with links to the actual docs/projects rather than a thin SEO wrapper. The repo also dogfoods its own content: it's built with Pelican, one of the static site generators the site itself writes about. The django/ and celery/ example pages amount to a decent function-level quick reference for people who don't want to dig through Django's source for what a given method does.
No commits since May 2023, so anything time-sensitive — framework versions, which PaaS still has a free tier, which libraries are still maintained — is stale and some of it is now wrong. This is a content repo, not software: there's no code to run, no tests, and nothing to adopt beyond reading it, so judge it as a reference doc rather than a project with a future roadmap. It carries a `check_urls.py` script, which tells you link rot is a known, ongoing problem here and some of those outbound links are almost certainly dead by now.
