A personal collection of ChatGPT prompts shared as a single JSON file, meant to be imported into Chatbot UI or copy-pasted manually. It's aimed at people who want a starter pack of prompts rather than developers looking for a library or tool.
The prompts.json format is simple enough to parse or repurpose in five minutes without reading any docs. It got real traction (842 stars) early in the ChatGPT prompt-collection wave, so the prompts themselves were apparently useful to a lot of people at the time.
Dead since April 2023 — the README's 'upcoming' features (prompt selector, community sharing) never shipped. Distribution is a Google Drive link to a JSON file instead of just committing it readably in the repo or versioning it. No structure, tags, or documentation for what's actually in prompts.json — you have to open the file yourself to know what you're getting. Tied to a specific now-defunct-feeling tool (Chatbot UI) for the intended workflow, so the 'import this' half of the README is dead weight if you're not using that exact app.
