A bookmarklet for translating marketing speak into human-readable text. :poop:

A browser bookmarklet that replaces corporate buzzwords on any webpage with plain English equivalents. It's a joke tool, but a useful one — paste it in your bookmarks bar, click it on any SaaS landing page, and watch the marketing dissolve. Made by Volodymyr Agafonkin (of Leaflet fame), which explains the surprising polish for a joke project.

The word list in terms.js is genuinely well-considered — it covers the full spectrum of enterprise nonsense without being random. The bookmarklet delivery mechanism is clever: no install, no extension permissions, works on any site. Being from mourner gives it credibility and the code is clean and minimal. Active enough to still get fixes in 2026.

It's a ~200-line joke project, so the 'weaknesses' are just the thing being what it is: the replacement list is static and will never keep up with new buzzwords organically. No config, no way to add your own terms without forking. The README being written entirely in the jargon it mocks is funny once but makes it hard to share with someone who doesn't already get the joke.
