Excel-like data grid (table) component for React

A plain-table-based spreadsheet component for React with cut/copy/paste, keyboard navigation, and a renderer-override system for every layer of the grid. Useful if you need an embeddable data grid and don't want a heavier commercial grid library, but it's explicitly unmaintained as of 2023.

The renderer override system is genuinely layered — sheet, row, cell, valueViewer, and dataEditor can each be swapped independently, so you can bolt on custom cell types (date pickers, buttons) without forking the library. onCellsChanged returns a clean batched diff and separately reports paste overflow ('additions') that fall outside the grid bounds, an edge case most similar libraries just drop. It's small and dependency-light — no bundled state management or CSS-in-JS runtime, just a table and a stylesheet.

README says outright it's no longer maintained and is looking for a new owner — any bug you hit is yours to patch, PRs aren't getting merged. There's no virtualization; it renders a real <table> with a <tr>/<td> per cell, so a few thousand rows will visibly lag. The API and examples are all class-component era (pre-hooks), so it sits awkwardly in a modern functional codebase. Despite the docs example using an 'expr' field to imply formula support, there's no actual formula engine — value/data separation is on you to implement.
