naishal/Warehouse-Management-System
A student database project implementing a warehouse/inventory management system in C with a MySQL/SQL Server backend — schema, triggers, stored procedures, and a console front end. It reads as coursework for a DBMS class rather than a tool anyone would deploy.
The schema work is genuinely more thorough than typical student projects: separate DDL, an ERD with minimal functional dependencies documented as its own artifact, and a dozen-plus triggers handling cascading updates (stock quantities, credit/debit balances, delivered vs received amounts) that show real thought about data consistency at the database layer rather than pushing that logic into application code.
Everything SQL is stored as .txt files instead of .sql, so there's no syntax highlighting, no way to run them as migrations, and no indication of which RDBMS dialect they target. Console.c is the only application code and there's no build file, no README, and no sample data beyond the insert script, so getting this running requires reverse-engineering the schema and guessing the toolchain. It's also a single unmaintained snapshot from 2022 with no tests and no error handling shown in the triggers — a bad insert would likely cascade into whatever failure mode the trigger logic doesn't account for.
