A simple music and sound effect player for the Godot Engine

A pooled music and sound-effect manager addon for Godot 4.6+, replacing the usual ad-hoc AudioStreamPlayer juggling with a single autoload that handles bus routing, crossfades, and UI vs. positional sound separation. Aimed at Godot developers who want sane audio defaults without hand-rolling a player pool for every project.

Pooling audio players instead of spawning a new AudioStreamPlayer per sound is the right call and avoids the usual stutter/leak issues; bus autodetection removes a chunk of boilerplate setup most people copy-paste between projects; shipping both GDScript and C# API surfaces (with a dedicated C# example project and .csproj) is unusual follow-through for a GDScript-first addon; splitting UI sounds from local/positional sounds is a real distinction most hobby audio managers skip.

No test suite in the tree at all, so pool-exhaustion and crossfade edge cases are only verified by hand; docs are a handful of markdown files with no API reference, so method signatures and defaults aren't discoverable without reading the .gd source directly; hard Godot 4.6+ requirement with the 3.x line pushed to a separate stale branch means anyone on an older 4.x project can't use this without a fork; being a single maintainer's addon with Patreon/Discord links front and center in the README is a maintenance-risk signal worth weighing before depending on it for a shipping game.
