A personal collection of Chinese translations of classic software development articles and papers — Paxos Made Simple, LinkedIn's log article, Joe Armstrong on Elixir, Qt API design principles, and about 20 others. It's a one-person effort from a single maintainer who picked articles they found worth reading deeply. Useful exclusively if you read Simplified Chinese and want these specific texts in your native language.
The selection is genuinely good. These aren't random blog posts — Paxos Made Simple, Doug Lea's Fork/Join paper, and Jay Kreps's log article are the real things, and whoever picked them has taste. The translations follow 信达雅 (faithfulness first, then readability) rather than machine-translation aesthetics. The dual organization — chronological and by topic — makes it easy to find something specific or browse by era. A few entries include translator's notes that add context missing from the original.
The project is basically finished. The newest translation is from 2020, and commit activity has been minimal for years — this is an archive, not a living resource. Several pieces are now period artifacts: a 2014 'What's new in Git 2.1' writeup and an 'Why does your Android slow down' post from the same year haven't aged well. There's no mechanism to flag drift from the originals — if a source article was updated or retracted, the translation wouldn't reflect that. And it's only useful if you read Chinese; English readers get nothing the originals don't already provide.
