Learn Cloud Applied Generative AI Engineering (GenEng) using OpenAI, Gemini, Streamlit, Containers, Serverless, Postgres, LangChain, Pinecone, and Next.js
A course repository for the Cloud Applied Generative AI Engineering curriculum, organized as numbered modules that move from GenAI fundamentals and Python basics toward building LLM apps with OpenAI, LangChain, Pinecone, and Streamlit. It suits developers who want a guided, cloud-oriented path into LLM application work, not a reusable library.
The numbered module folders each carry their own readme, so the progression is easy to follow and you can jump to one topic. The topic tags point at a deployment stack (Docker Compose, Terraform, Neon Postgres, FastAPI with Pydantic and SQLAlchemy) that most GenAI tutorials skip. Section 02 keeps the Python Crash Course exercises and adds type hints to them, which is a reasonable bridge for developers coming from untyped scripting.
The last push was July 2024, more than two years ago. The README still names gpt-3.5-turbo as the free tier, teaches the Assistants API that OpenAI has announced it is retiring, and links Flask-in-Next.js 13 guides, so expect dated APIs and broken links. The README is mostly a link list (late-2023 news articles, a Harvard Business Review product page, Amazon book links, a Web3 section), and it gives no setup or run instructions for the actual lesson code. It also requires Azure and Google Cloud accounts up front without saying which steps can be skipped. Much of the early material is reproduced exercises from a published book rather than original work.
