// the take
A grab-bag of real-world Pion WebRTC integrations — GStreamer, FFmpeg, GoCV, Janus, SIP, RTMP, even a C program — each example is its own tiny Go module you're meant to copy out. It's for people who already know pion/webrtc's basics and need to see how it talks to an actual media pipeline or signaling stack, not for learning WebRTC from scratch.
Covers integration points you won't find demonstrated anywhere else — SIP-to-WebRTC and RTMP-to-WebRTC bridges, C bindings via cgo, Janus gateway interop. CI is real: lint, test, fuzz, and CodeQL workflows all run, and the repo is actively pushed to. Each example is self-contained with its own README and main.go, so you can lift one directory into your own project without untangling shared state.
Most examples assume you've already installed GStreamer, FFmpeg, or OpenCV/GoCV system libraries — the Go code is the easy 10% of getting any of these running. Documentation per example is a paragraph at best; there's no explanation of why the pipeline is wired the way it is, just the finished code. No version pinning story against pion/webrtc itself, so an example that worked a year ago can silently break against current Pion without anyone noticing until someone files an issue. It's a flat pile of unrelated demos, not a library — the top-level examples.go server is just a launcher, nothing you'd build on top of.
