Tutorial de como usar o Git e Github na prática
A companion README for a Portuguese-language YouTube tutorial walking beginners through basic Git and GitHub commands — init, add, commit, branch, merge, clone, pull, fork, pull request. It's aimed squarely at people who have never touched Git before, not at anyone looking for a reference.
The command sequence is genuinely well-ordered for a first-timer: it goes init through remote through branching through PR in the order you'd actually hit them, and each step shows the exact command with a one-line reason for it. The screenshots (even if hosted on Discord CDN, which will eventually rot) walk through the GitHub UI parts that trip up beginners, like what the repo creation page and the 'branch is ahead' banner actually look like.
It's a video transcript, not documentation — there's no table of contents, no code blocks with syntax highlighting for the commands, and no way to jump to a section without reading prose. Screenshots are hosted on i1.wp.com and media.discordapp.net, both of which are known to expire or 404 over time, and several already look fragile. There's no coverage of anything beyond the absolute basics: no .gitignore, no rebase, no conflict resolution walkthrough, no explanation of what happens when a merge actually conflicts. It's Portuguese-only with no translation, which caps who this is useful for.
