Persist flag values into an ini file
globalconf lets a Go program read flag values from an ini file and environment variables, in addition to the command line, so flags don't have to be re-typed on every run. It's aimed at CLI tool authors who want a config file without wiring their own INI parser and precedence logic.
It builds directly on the standard flag package instead of replacing it, so existing flag.String/flag.Int calls keep working unchanged. Precedence order (file, then env, then command line) is explicit and documented with real examples. Set/Delete persist changes back to the file, which is a genuinely useful feature most flag-plus-config libraries skip. Custom flag sets map to their own ini sections, giving basic namespacing for larger programs.
Last commit is from 2020 and it predates any of the module-aware or generics-based Go tooling, so it's effectively unmaintained. Only supports ini format, not yaml/json/toml, and there's no way to plug in a different serializer. No support for nested structs or typed config beyond what flag.Value already offers, so anything more complex than flat key-value pairs needs manual work. The README example for env var precedence is actually wrong (says name will be 'burcu' with wrong casing, contradicting the stated override behavior), which suggests the docs weren't kept in sync with the code.
