A directory of hardware related libs, tools, and tutorials for Go
This is an awesome-list style directory of Go libraries, tools, and tutorials for hardware and embedded work — GPIO drivers, Bluetooth/serial bindings, computer vision wrappers, that kind of thing. It's for someone starting a Go-based hardware project who wants to know what already exists instead of writing bindings from scratch.
The category breakdown (controllers, signal processing/CV, networking/peripherals, mobile) is genuinely useful for scanning quickly rather than reading a flat list. It links to projects that turned out to matter, like periph.io and gocv, not just whatever was trendy in 2016. The intro section makes a real technical case for Go on embedded targets (cross-compilation story, GC pause times, cgo interop) instead of just asserting Go is good.
Last commit is mid-2019 — a sizable chunk of the linked repos (go-lepton, hwio, emgo, littlebits) are abandoned or archived now, and the list gives no signal on which links are dead versus alive. There's no maintenance status, no stars/activity indicator per entry, so you have to click through each one to find out if it's worth using. It's literally just a README plus a placeholder repo.go — no code, no examples, no way to contribute structured data, just a giant markdown link dump that anyone could staleness-check with a script but nobody has.
