The Node Exporter Full dashboard is the de facto standard most people end up using for Linux host monitoring — it's thorough and well-tuned for the metrics node_exporter actually exposes. Good coverage of niche exporters (BIND9, Unbound, NFS) that don't have an obvious canonical dashboard elsewhere, so this fills a real gap. Zero friction to adopt: no build step, no dependencies, just JSON you import directly in Grafana.
No screenshots anywhere in the README, so you're importing blind and only find out if the panels make sense once they're live. No stated compatibility matrix against node_exporter/Grafana versions beyond a one-line note about pre-0.16 node_exporter needing a different file — version drift between exporter releases and dashboard queries is a real failure mode here and there's no CI or test harness checking the JSON still matches current exporter metric names. It's a single maintainer with no contribution guidelines, so fixes for a broken panel on your specific stack may sit unmerged. These are static dashboard snapshots, not templated/parameterized builds (no Jsonnet/grafonnet), so customizing beyond variable swaps means hand-editing JSON.
