Creating this repository as a central hub for all DevOps interview questions to help you land your next job.

A single-file README repo with 160 DevOps interview questions and answers, covering Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Terraform, and a dozen other topics. It's aimed at people preparing for DevOps job interviews, not practitioners looking for reference material.

Wide topic coverage for the price of a single file — if you're cramming for an interview, you won't need to bounce between five different repos. The table of contents with anchor links makes it navigable. Code examples (Dockerfile, Ansible playbooks, Terraform HCL, Kubernetes YAML) are present and syntactically correct, which is more than most interview-prep repos manage. The question numbering is consistent and the formatting is clean enough to skim quickly.

The answers are shallow by design — they describe what things are, not how they fail or how you'd choose between them in practice, which is exactly what senior interviews actually ask. Almost nothing past 2022 is represented: no OpenTofu, no Cilium replacing kube-proxy, no Wasm runtimes, minimal platform engineering depth. The repo is a single README with no contribution guide, no answer-quality standard, and no mechanism to flag wrong or outdated content — 996 forks means a lot of uncollected improvements are sitting in personal repos. It'll get you past an HR phone screen; it won't help you with a staff-level systems design round.
