Dashboard for Kong(基于 openResty)
A tiny OpenResty/Lua dashboard that proxies requests to Kong's own admin API so you don't have to add routes/consumers via raw curl. Built by one person mostly as an OpenResty learning exercise, backed by Redis for login sessions and reading data through Kong rather than touching Cassandra directly.
Routing lookups through Kong's existing API instead of querying Cassandra directly is the right call — it avoids duplicating Kong's own data access logic and staying in sync with its schema. The dependency list is minimal (lua-resty-http, lua-resty-template, cjson, redis), so the actual admin code is small and readable if you already know OpenResty.
Login credentials are stored and checked with no encryption, by the author's own admission in the README — a non-starter for anything beyond a local toy. The repo vendors the entire OpenResty 1.9.7.4 + LuaJIT source tree directly into git instead of treating it as an external dependency, bloating the repo and making it impossible to tell project code from vendored code at a glance. It's targeting Kong on Cassandra, which Kong dropped support for years ago, and the project has had no commits since 2016, so none of this lines up with any Kong version still in use. One star, no tests, no license file, and documentation only in Chinese further limit who could actually pick this up.
