Reconnaissance Swiss Army Knife

ReconDog is a Python CLI that wraps several third-party lookup services (HackerTarget, WhatCMS, Shodan's honeyscore, findsubdomains.com, Wappalyzer, Censys) behind a wizard or a set of flags. It suits someone who wants a quick passive overview of a domain or IP without writing glue code for each service. The last push was January 2021, so treat it as a reference, not something to depend on.

The pipe mode is the most useful part. `--domains` and `--ips` pull targets out of arbitrary STDIN with regex, so it chains onto any subdomain enumerator without a shared output format. Most utilities query third-party services instead of the target, so the target only sees the aggregator's traffic. Each utility is its own module under `plugins/`, which keeps the code easy to read and each source easy to replace.

Almost every backend is a free third-party web service with its own rate limits and terms, and several have changed since 2021. Each utility maps to exactly one source, so when a site changes its HTML or endpoint, the plugin breaks and there is no fallback. Python 2.7 is still listed as supported, which has not been true for years, and the Travis config is unlikely to still run a working build. The tree has no tests, so nothing catches upstream breakage.
