Multi-arch PiAware docker container including support for bladeRF, RTLSDR, SoapySDR. Includes dump1090 & dump978 (amd64, arm/v6, arm/v7, arm64v8)
A multi-arch Docker container packaging FlightAware's PiAware feeder software with dump1090/dump978, supporting RTL-SDR and other SDRs. Aimed at ADS-B hobbyists running Raspberry Pis or other boxes who want to feed FlightAware without manually installing piaware on bare metal.
Real multi-arch support (amd64, arm/v6, arm/v7, arm64) with s6-overlay for proper process supervision instead of a single hacky entrypoint script. Extensive environment variable coverage for RTL-SDR gain/PPM, relay mode from external BEAST/UAT providers, and MLAT config, so it composes well with the rest of the sdr-enthusiasts ecosystem (ultrafeeder, dump978). Documentation includes concrete docker run and docker-compose examples for every deployment topology, which saves a lot of trial and error.
BladeRF/HackRF/LimeSDR/Radarcape support is advertised in topics but the README admits the wrapper scripts for those aren't finished, so the multi-SDR claim is partly aspirational. Requires manually blacklisting kernel modules on the host for RTL-SDR to work, which is a rough edge that trips up first-time users and isn't handled by the container itself. dump1090 is compiled on first container run rather than baked into the image, which adds startup latency and makes builds less reproducible/cacheable.
