shadcn/ui + tailwind v4
A reference implementation showing every shadcn/ui component wired up against Tailwind v4, built as a Next.js app. It's aimed at people building or maintaining shadcn's own component library, or anyone who wants a working example of the v4 migration rather than reading the changelog.
The 'sink' directory demos nearly every component variant (button states, badge colors, form controls) in one place, which is more useful for visual regression checking than the usual single-page demo. It's a real compiling Next.js 15 app with the App Router, not a snippet dump, so you can clone it and see actual class output in the browser. Using pnpm and a locked components.json keeps the shadcn CLI reproducible against this exact set.
The README is a single line pointing to an open GitHub issue about Tailwind v4/React 19 compatibility — there's no explanation of what changed from v3, what broke, or how to adapt an existing project. No tests, so component regressions during a Tailwind bump would only surface visually. It's frozen at whatever shadcn/Tailwind versions it shipped with; nine months without a push in this ecosystem likely means several of the demoed components are already out of sync with the current shadcn registry.
