A set of precompiled C binaries (not buildable source) implementing a self-hosted IM/VoIP/live-streaming backend: one-to-one chat, group chat, chat rooms, WebRTC voice/video calls, RTMP/RTSP live streaming, and screen recording. It's aimed at teams in China wanting to self-host messaging and live infrastructure on Aliyun/Tencent Cloud without paying a SaaS vendor, paired with closed client SDKs for Android/iOS/web.

Covers a genuinely wide feature set in one deployment — one-to-one and group messaging, offline message storage, multi-party rooms, live streaming with RTMP push and RTSP pull, and call recording — services that would normally mean integrating several separate products. Each capability runs as an independent binary (msgServer, voipServer, groupServer, etc.) so you only start what you need, e.g. skip groupServer for pure one-to-one chat. Ships server-side integration examples in PHP, Java, Go, Node.js, Python, and .NET for the system-message/group-push HTTP API, lowering the glue-code work for whoever wires it into an existing backend.

There's no source code to read or build — the 'server' is a set of precompiled Linux binaries you chmod +x and run; you cannot audit what they do, patch them, or build for anything but x86_64 CentOS/Ubuntu. The README states explicitly there's no authentication on these services, and the internal admin API (port 19922) is only safe because it's assumed to stay off the public internet — one firewall misconfiguration and anyone can push messages to any user or manipulate group membership. Last commit is from December 2019; six years with no security patches on network-facing binaries handling arbitrary media streams is a real liability. No LICENSE file anywhere in the repo, so the legal terms for running or redistributing these binaries are undefined.
