Thanks, _why.
This is an archival repository, not a software project. It preserves _why the lucky stiff's final writings — a collection of short PCL (printer command language) documents compiled into CLOSURE.pdf — released after his 2009 disappearance from the internet. Steve Klabnik collected and published them as a tribute to one of the most influential and eccentric figures in the Ruby community.
The PDF compilation is genuinely useful — having all the fragments in one ordered, readable document is better than hunting them down individually. The PCL source files are preserved alongside the PDFs, which is the right archival instinct. The ordering in the README is intentional and matters for reading the collection as intended.
This is a static archive from 2020 with no ongoing maintenance expected or needed, so 'weaknesses' is the wrong frame. What it is not: it's not a software library, not a tool, not something you integrate. If you star this expecting code, you've misread it. The Dropbox mirror link is almost certainly dead by now. There's no context for newcomers who don't already know who _why is — a single paragraph of background would help.
