// the take
swapper-toolkit packages a small set of "skills" (installed via `npx skills add`) that let AI coding agents — Claude Code, Cursor, CrewAI, AutoGPT, etc. — kick off crypto/fiat deposits into wallets and DeFi protocols through Swapper Finance's hosted modal and SDK. It's aimed at developers building agents that need to move money into a protocol without hand-rolling the on/off-ramp integration.
The deposit flow hands off to a hosted modal (`openSwapperModal`) rather than having the agent sign and broadcast transactions itself, so custody and execution stay out of the agent's process. Chain coverage for the one working skill is wide — ten chains including Solana and HyperEVM. Explicit human confirmation is structural (agent opens a link, human approves in-browser) rather than something left to prompt wording.
Two of the three advertised skills (`/swapper-trade`, `/swapper-wallet`) are marked "Coming Soon" — the only thing that actually ships is the deposit skill, so most of the README is marketing for features that don't exist. It's specifically packaged for auto-install into autonomous agents and grants them the ability to initiate fund movement; handing deposit/trade capability to an agent is a different risk class than a human running a CLI themselves, and there's no audit, bug bounty, or operational track record referenced anywhere. The Chainlink CRE/CCIP and Mastercard name-drops come with zero technical detail on the trust model — who holds funds in transit, what happens if the modal flow is interrupted mid-transaction, how fees are set. There's also nothing here to actually audit: the real logic lives in a closed SDK package and a hosted modal, not in this repo.
