weijunext/nextjs-starter
Lite version of the Nexty.dev SaaS Boilerplate based on Next.js. A multilingual Next.js 16 starter with built-in i18n support.
A trimmed-down, free version of weijunext's paid Nexty.dev SaaS boilerplate — just the marketing/blog shell: Next.js 16 App Router, next-intl i18n (EN/ZH/JA), Tailwind + shadcn/ui, and an MDX blog. Good fit for someone who wants a multilingual marketing site or landing page and doesn't need auth, billing, or a database.
The i18n setup is done properly — locale-prefixed routes under app/[locale], per-locale blog and content MDX directories, and a custom Link wrapper to keep locale-aware navigation consistent, which is the part people usually get wrong in next-intl projects. Content (blog posts, static pages) lives in MDX files separate from code, so non-developers can edit copy without touching components. pnpm version is pinned via packageManager plus a Corepack step, which avoids the classic 'works on my machine' lockfile drift in JS templates. The newsletter and product-submission server actions are wired to Resend and actually functional, not just stubs.
This is fundamentally a lead funnel for the paid product — the README opens with an ad and a UTM-tagged link before describing the project, and the 'complete version' pitch shows up twice. There are no tests anywhere in the tree, which is a real gap for something meant to be forked and built on. Google Adsense and ads.txt are wired in by default, which is an odd assumption for a generic SaaS/marketing starter and something most adopters will need to rip out. There's a stray ESLint audit log file (log/.db69a462fcd0bc6ae6d0cc5220e6aa21ec198c81-audit.json) committed to the repo, suggesting .gitignore isn't being watched closely.
